The linq video's have the right idea but are presented wrong. The Video production is great and the author's voice is very clear and understandable. However, the demo falls short because of several problems.
The largest problem is the instructor assumes that the audience knows the northwind db. If the instructor went between the db and the code more often it would make the examples easier to understand. [e.g. here is an example of how we would setup a right-join or this may be a more efficient way to cascade a delete update or what does the "aggregate" command do?
The other comment I would like to point out, is we have yet another native C# coder writing VB code. This is poor form. VB and C# coders take too separate coding paths. I do not get why Microsoft wants to abandon their biggest programming group. The "==" mistake made me throw up in my mouth as a VB native. When I watch a c# example I want to see a C# pro and likewise for the VB videos.
These video's are so important to the .net language users that I believe more time should be given to the developer's that create them. The better these video's are the better the products will be that take advantage of the language.
Thanks for these lessons though, as they are much appreciated.
