Now that we walked through building our first Web application, we explore the underlying
technologies a little more in depth, beginning with the Microsoft .NET Framework.
The .NET Framework provides base functionality that you can use from ASP.NET when
you are building your Web applications to make your job easier. In this session, we
provide an overview of the .NET Framework, and we cover the base functionality in the
.NET Framework that can help you build your Web applications by examining the classes
in the System.Web namespace.
