ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0

Download and install ASP.NET AJAX Extensions today! This download installs the framework for developing and running AJAX-style applications with either server-centric or client-centric development models and is fully supported by Microsoft. You must install this before installing the ASP.NET Futures release or the ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit.

When you download the documentation, be sure to open the Readme.htm file for setup instructions. The download includes working samples to help you get the most out of ASP.NET AJAX.

ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Templates for VS2008

This release contains project templates for using Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Web Developer 2008 to create new web sites and web applications with ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 features. The project templates contain specific references to assemblies in .NET Framework 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0.

ASP.NET Futures (July 2007)

The new features that extend the core ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 platform are now part of the ASP.NET Futures (July 2007) release. This release also includes a preview of a number of other compelling ASP.NET features under development, including Silverlight controls, dynamic data controls, dynamic languages support, and more.

ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 Source Code

The ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions Source Code package installs both the source code and the debugging symbols for ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions to help you maintain and debug applications built with ASP.NET AJAX 1.0. You can install the source code independently or use it with Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition. Once the source code is installed with Visual Studio or Visual Web Developer Express, you can use the built-in debugger to quickly meet your troubleshooting needs.

Microsoft AJAX Library 1.0

For ASP.NET AJAX development on non-Windows systems, the Microsoft AJAX Library 1.0 package contains the complete set of client JavaScript components that are included in the full ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 installation. You may use and modify these scripts in your own applications. To simplify installation, the Microsoft AJAX Library package is available as a compressed (.zip) file.
