Description
Ensure you always have the right editor control available for your users with six powerful input controls for the Web. Choose from WebTextEdit™, WebMaskEdit™, WebNumericEdit™, WebCurrencyEdit™, WebDateTimeEdit™, or WebPercentEdit™. All Infragistics ASP.NET controls provide a full client side object model (CSOM) that you can code against with Javascript to minimize postbacks. In addition, you can control their appearance by setting properties that, for example, define how your negative numbers should be displayed. When entering dates, the AutoCentury property will automatically provide a full year when the user enters just two digits for the year portion of a date ensuring Y2K compliance.
Through the use of these embeddable editor controls, you can build data grids that make it easy for your users to input data. WebGrid™ columns can allow the input of text, numbers, currency, dates, and times. The WebGrid also supports a masked edit input, which provides great support for custom data formats. The WebGrid is also compatible and interoperable with ASP.NET Validator controls, allowing you to leverage a well known mechanism for data validation.
