I’ve used Peter’s Date and Time controls for 2 web projects and the controls have made date and time entry straight forward with a professional look. The value of these controls are unbeatable for the price and performance. The controls are greatly customizable and the text data entry and pop-up picker functionality is unique and well thought out. All controls are also supported across all the major browsers which is huge especially when dealing with pop-up functionality and styling. Peter’s support is amazing as he responds to support questions very promptly and I’ve received immediate hotfixes for the few minor issues I’ve found. I recommend also getting the full DES suite or at least the interactive page module as Peter does an excellent job integrating functionality from his other modules such as the context menu, enhanced tooltips, and validators into the controls to enhance them. Can’t recommend these controls enough!

hi, we had some little problems at beginning, but Peter gave us the right answers within hours. The control can do whatever you can imagine. It's really a great piece of software. If you are doubting, don’t wait, buy it asap and you will not regret. In short, a state of the art piece of software with a fanatic support.

Bar none, the best Date & Time control I have ever used (in 14 yrs of development). Rock-solid and backed by some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I had a rather complex implementation and my support question was answered within 1 hour with a detailed email on how to do it. I just wish other vendors had the dedication to developer support like they do. --Troy

What more can I add to what has already been said? Well, just to confirm a few points: - Peter's Date Package does way, way more than any other offering I could find. - It does it at a fraction of the price of many other offerings. - What is more, the technical support is the best I have ever come across. As well as responding quickly to posts on the User Group, Peter is also quite happy to communicate with his users directly via email. In such discussions he has always been friendly and extremely knowledgeable about his products. Just amazing.

I researched many date controls before settling on this one. The controls are very easy to use - I had them working in my site within a few minutes, compare that with a couple of days for a free javascript control. And it contains a multi-selection calendar control, which is not very common. Add to all that the excellent support and documentation and the low price and you have a real winner - I would recommend these controls to anyone.

Peter's Date Package is hands-down the best ASP.NET Date control package available. Thoughtfully designed and meticulously documented, they are the ONLY date controls worth using. These controls save you time as a programmer and provide an excellent end-user experience. Furthermore, support has always gone far beyond expectations. I can't speak highly enough of PeterBlum.com or their products. Don't waste time with other controls, even if they're free.

I looked at every date picker available and none compare. PDP is easy to use, very well supported and comes with the best documenation I've ever seen. Peter seems to have thought of nearly everything - if you need to collect or display date data or ranges of dates or date/times then this suite of controls is for you. It's also nice that it fully integrates with validators and more which ensures that the data you expect is the data you actually get. To top it off the pricing is very reasonable - buying PB's controls is a no brainer.

My company had gone through three different date or time controls before finding PetersDatePackage. If you can imagine a feature this thing has it. It also has the most complete and easy-to-read documentation for any asp.net control I've ever seen. To top it off, the support is fantastic, with a large message board and an author who will bend over backwards to help you. Highly recommended!!

This is an awesone product. I have been trying it out for just one day and already it more than paid for itself. As for the previously-mentionend speed issue, I did not notice any latency. Anyhow, my experience with this company (I am a VAM user) is that any kinks are worked out in no time.

Not only did this product do everything I wanted it to do - it did more. Peter's Date Package is everthing it claims to be and the customer service is flat out the best I have ever received from a product company. I would recommend the company and the software to anyone.

I can't seem to write anymore without either the date controls or Peter's VAM and VIS Security. They have simplified my life and greatly reduced entry error and potential hacker issues. PLUS - Peter answeres each email quesiton - no matter how stupid it might be - in a matter of minutes. I wish all of my controls had this much support and thoughful engineering. That's all I can say about it. Peter's attention to detail and thinking of every situation and accounting for it really shows. His meticulous instruction manual for the date control is a real testament to his technical ability as well as his ability to communicate with his customers. Peters Date Package is one of the nicest controls I ever used along with Validation and More (another fine product by Peter). Very easy to set up and has many features on it to handle any type of date or time functions you could possible think of. It works really great and works really nice with Validation and More. The Price is right and tech support is top notch!

This product is just great. I looked at almost every date selection product out there and this one took the cake. Other products used seperate IE windows, had significantly less features, etc. that ruled them out immediately. After testing this product for a few days, it quickly jumped out as having every feature I was looking for. The support is great too, I've been monitoring the support forum and noticed that the author replies to the questions almost immediately! The integration with Validation and More is also a key plus, and the client-side created javascript is not too big and runs efficiently. Combined with numerous other scipts and controls on the pages, this control still runs great!

In 20 years of programming, I have not seen a programmer's tool that was as easy to use or as well documented. By basing the date control on a text box, integration could not have been simpler. I just changed my text boxes to Pete's control and it worked. A project I expected to take days took hours. I can't say enough good things about this product, saves time, works well and is very stable.

... for not knowing about Peter's Date Package before I spent days messing around with the plethora of inferior date-picker controls out there. It has so many features, it's ridiculous -- like being able to quickly change the month ahead and back via Page Up and Page Down. You can link the datetextboxes and popup calendars together, so that two dates can't be more than x days apart. Or how about prevent someone from selecting a date in the past either by typing it in or selecting it from the calendar. You can even just type the month and the day and it will fill in the rest! It doesn't accept letters, only numbers! I'm telling you, getting past security at Fort Knox is way easier compared to getting past the validation on these controls once you've added them. And it's all trapped with DHTML messages even before the customer can click submit! IF YOU ARE READING THIS, LOOK NO FURTHER! This is your baby! Look at all the reviews! Look how much time I'm spending on this one! And it all comes with a 200 p

We've been a long time user of the Peter Blum controls for many commercial sites. The Date package is extreme in its documentation and flexibility. This product is superior to all other date packages I've researched and at only $50 is one of my best purchases ever. One other important note: Peter Blum is very fast in his support and eager to help resolve any issues that you might have. Excellent.

Here’s another rave review for Peter’s Date Package! I searched extensively online for a flexible date control that provided client-side tracking, date range capabilities, and style customization. Peter’s Date Package fulfilled all of my requirements and more, and the support provided with the control is unparalleled (Peter’s response time is great). The documentation that comes with the control is thorough, well written, and greatly reduces required learning time, so you can be up and running very quickly. I'm convinced that this is definitely the best calendar control out there.

What more can I say that hasn't been said already? Peter's Date Package truly includes the best date controls you will find. Despite the fact that it includes a package of controls, it is still available at an affordable price. Also, it appears that Peter appears to be very responsive to bug reports - I personally haven't discovered any problems, but he regularly provides new releases to fix problems (fairly obscure problems, from what I have observed). If you need a date or time related control, look no further. I'm sure Peter's Date Package will meet your needs.

I wanted to implement a client-side popup calendar to ensure date entry was bullet proof. I must have spent at least three or four days looking at what was on offer elsewhere then tinkering with the JS code to try and get what I wanted. Then I tried the Peter Blum Date Package. I could have saved myself a heap of time and frustration by going straight for Peter's solution. Take my word - it is the best! Not only is it great to use, it's rich in features and great support too. A rare combination in today's IT marketplace.

After a lot of research, we chose Peter Blum's date package for our ASP.NET application. The features supplied by Peter are second to none, providing extensive server-side and client-side configuration options. Equally notable is the high quality of documentation and support provided. The manual is one of the best I've used, and Peter has been very responsive to our support issues. My only criticism of the package is that validation can be a little cumbersome at times, but no more than most other controls. As for the price, it's really not much of an issue when you consider the amount of man-hours it would take to develop even a basic date entry control. All-in-all, I unreservedly recommend this package to anyone with a requirement to enter dates on an ASP.NET web page, be they looking for a basic control or one with enhanced functionality.

I spent a long time looking for a suitable .NET date control. I FOUND IT!! These controls (there are many) are so powerful and yet easy to integrate. I have been using it for a couple of months and have not found anything that it won't do with ease!! To top it all is Peter's and documentation which is awesome!! The controls have the best documentation I have ever seen and if that fails the support by email is fantastic!! Buy this control!!

Very professional user features. Looks and works great! Calendar pops up in the same browser window. Easily handles nulls in the database date field. Ability to easily call a javascript function in the onchange. Good programming interface and extensive documentation. I had several questions about deployment. Peter Blum responded quickly and very courteously to answer my questions. Only a $50 investment for the server license. So far, I have used about a quarter of the features in this package - and it is already worth it.

Top marks for this control and its developer! I have very modular specialized intranet code and this control integrated easily and continued to perform under increasingly sophisticated requirements. ex: - adapted to our fiscal week "CultureInfo"...weeks starting on monday instead of sunday - easily adapted to allow a full range of blockout dates (Sunday's only, special dates, etc) - easily integrated into user controls programatically added at runtime. - client javascript output plays nice with my custom js and other js from other controls purchased Rapid and effective feedback from support emails.
