Description

The standard ASP.NET dropdownlist and listbox controls only allow for searching based on the first letter typed. This can lead to serious usability issues when selecting an item from a large list (eg a list of suburbs or zip codes). The List Search control provides similar functionality to the list controls but allows your users to select from a large list of options using only the keyboard. This is because the List Search control enables searching based on multiple keystrokes.
