WebGrid from Intersoft has always be my favorite datagrid since I found it 5 years ago. I have built over 500 pages that used WebGrid since then, and I must say this tool is really awesome. It makes my life a lot easier with many advanced features it offerred, such as pivot charting, hierarchical custom object support and impressive editing experiences and more. Performance is also great, especially with the new client binding it offerred in its latest version. To sum up, this WebGrid from Intersoft is so far the best one I can find in the market. A must-have Grid for every serious developer!

I've just checked out Intersoft's new WebGrid 7 release. I really loved their new features specifically client-side binding and batch update, two of my most long-awaited features.
I can't believe the Grid's new performance when enabling the new client binding feature. It loads millions of data in less than a second.
A must upgrade, and highly recommended!
Great product, prompt support

Hi,
The promised update: I stuck with Intersoft and have been quite pleased with it. There are some quirks and items they're still figuring out, but on the whole, the customer support (if you email them directly with good problem descriptions) is quite prompt and very useful. I've had the first grid go into production and have had good feedback.
Performance is decent, also with in-grid editing that involve their webcombo with large datasets. Large datasets are surprisingly fast. Once you're past the basic set-up documentation, it becomes a little tougher to find documentation that help with troubleshooting; you really have to dive into the API and just play around.
On one page I have an image grid, and another grid with a childgrid (both edited in-grid), where items can be moved up and down, and it all works very nicely. Not instant, no miracles here, but nicely, and it was all done in a fraction of the time we'd have gotten it done with the standard .NET grid or the other grids I evaluated.

The product is heavy on features, looks great, and is simple enough to program against.
Unfortunately it's also laden with bugs (mostly javascript related,) missing large sections of documentation, and their customer support is the worst I've ever seen.
