The CalendarExtender Plus is a modification of the calendar extender that ships as part of the Ajax Control Toolkit. There are two main functionalities added to the control. First, you can limit the selectable dates to a specified date range. Second, there is now the option to show an alternate header. The new header includes two DropDown Lists, one to select the month and one to select the year.

I have spent hours trying to get this control to do what I need it to do in DNN. There is very little documentation on how to work with it. I finally got it to do everything needed but now there is conflict with all my other Ajax controls in the DNN site. I am ready to slit my wrists. Thanks but no thanks.

This control works and makes it easier for general users to select dates without realising they need to click on the title to expand the calendar range.
Enabling control over the selectable range of dates is the main +1 feature of this control.
The control properties however need a lot more work. Some of them are counter intuitive and don't deliver what you would expect. Some trial and error was required before I was able to work out what was going on. I don't think I'll be using it in production just yet.
