A free open source application, AxpQuery, is available for download. It is a general database object and data explorer with editing capabilities for SQL Server, Access and Oracle. It utilizes AxpDataGrid for most of it's functionality.

This is an excellent grid, users find it very simple to understand and use. I have been using this grid for many years with any problems. I like I can add new fields to a sql server without re-compiling the app.

This is an excellent datagrid control that can handle all kinds of datasets. You can use the simplest of queries to fill your datagrid, but this control can handle really complex SQL queries, too. It provides paging, sorting, etc, as well as varying "editing" options. Also, it's easy and fun to make it very attractive, too!!
