These are the best controls that I have used so far, so good that I am done looking for others. Great performance, Great documentation, Great examples! Full source code for their on-line demo is provided as one large example. Anything that you can see in the demo, you can do too! The online demo can be found at http://www.telerik.com/DEMOS/ASPNET/Prometheus/Controls/Examples/Default/DefaultCS.aspx
Don’t let the feature rich controls scare you; they are very easy to use. These guys “get it!” The code is written just like you would write it, simple and straight forward. Support is also great!
Thanks guys, you have removed the limits to what can be accomplished and you made my life easier!

I've been searching for a treeview solution for some time now. Not finding one to my liking, I considered building one from scratch. Then I downloaded the trial version of Telerik's RAD TreeView and I can now say it is simply the best one out there. It very powerful with a lot of features, yet very easy to use. It works flawlessly with IE, Firefox and Opera. The help is well done and the fact that it's integrated with Visual Studio's help is nice.
The only downside I've found is that the installer installs two desktop icons, which were promptly deleted... :)
In short : a great and powerful solution that will improve your existing applications in no time.

I’m Head of ICT for a high school in the UK and have recently upgraded the school’s website to DotNetNuke. I was looking for a reliable, simple yet powerful navigation control to replace the treeview supplied with DNN. After trying several out, I found r.a.d.treeview. Installation was a breeze with the supplied DNN Private Assembly. Within minutes I had it integrated into my skin and customized to work the way I wanted. And the kids love its sleek and elegant look! What’s more, the email contact I’ve had with telerik about this control has been very prompt and exceedingly helpful. A cracking control, now I’m looking for excuses to try their others!

I've used numerous treeview controls, and was never satisfied with any of them until telerik released the r.a.d.treeview. The multiple-select drag & drop feature is extremely useful, and the client-side scripting abilities give me exactly the flexibility that I require. The load-on-demand functionality is superb and quite intuitive compared to the other treeviews I've used. The tree is very fast to load & build, even with several thousand nodes. If you are in the market for a treeview component, just view the live demo on telerik's site and you'll be hooked.
A side note about telerik: Once you establish a relationship with telerik, you'll wish that every company you deal with was as helpful and friendly as telerik. I say 'establish a relationship' rather than 'become a customer of' because I don't feel like just a customer. They honestly listen to feedback and suggestions, and their level of support is second to none. This is a company that understands that good service means return busines

r.a.d. treeview is one of the best ASP.NET components I've ever used. It is very easy to use, but at the same time it is flexible and configurable enough to address any usage scenario (and mine was pretty complex).
I really like the way all formatting can been isolated into a CSS file, which can be hot-plugged to show trees with different design but the same content. The component gives you the flexibility to populate the tree either from an XML file or programmatically in the code.
Ready-made examples are shipped with the product, making it easy to learn. Writing the code to populate the tree from a database took minutes. Making the treeview look _exactly_ like the Explorer tree in Windows XP took some more tweaking, but worked in the end. Telerik's support has been very helpful in that process.
Overall - highly recommended for features, browser compatibility, and support. If you want your Web application to have an interface familiar to Windows users, telerik's navigation components are the

This control is easy to use. It has so many examples with database support for me to explore various features. The most important function I like, which is easy to retrieve the data from the tree view check list, when I use the checkbox tree view to select items. It saves my co-workers’ time because of the group checked feature with a clear organized tree view. Especially, our target checklist have 4 level with 30 + sub heading group and more than 400 check items. This is my painful experience before I use this control. Anyway, I have tried various tree view controls, but this one is the best to fit my case.

Positive:
I recently went out on a search to replace our MS IE TreeView since the MS tree was so slow generating trees with as little as 300 nodes. I tested two or three other trees and found RadTreeView the best in terms of both functionality and ease-of-use. The RadTreeView is very fast and can handle thousands of nodes with its "load on-demand" function. It was easy to setup and very easy to use. The numerous examples they provide are very helpful and cover a wide-array of functionality. Their new website and online ticketing system is very nice.
Neutral:
Their technical documentation is solid, but a bit weak on the javascript/client side. All of my questions/tickets were answered within 48 - 72hrs, which is adequate.
Negative:
These are minor in comparison to the benefits....
You can not disable the whole tree at once. You must traverse each node. Also, the selected node image can not be different from the others.
I would highly recommend this tree. It is awesome!

This control is extremely easy to use, flexible and has a clean, professional look. They also provide 23 different skins for a wide range of display options. The most amazing part is that I was up and running with this control in under 15 minutes from download. I have tried a lot of custom controls in my day and this is one of the few that is a must have.
