Used this module in VAM, and now also in the DES suite, and makes life a lot easier. It's a very reliable module to use, makes the application a lot more secure. And very easy to configure. Furthermore it can warn you when something is going wrong, e.g. a hacker tries to infiltrate your application, you automatically can get a warning, and it logs all details too! Documentation is excellent, and support is the best.

We're currently using the Professional Validation and More v3 suite which includes Visual Input Security. We recently had our Web site rigorously tested by a security consultant that is capable of testing with brute-force attacks, SQL injection attacks, cross-site scripting, etc. When using VIS, the Web site passed their tests with flying colors. I'm not sure if we would have passed their tests without it!
Thanks Peter!

This control made complex validation a breeze - use with Peter's Filtered Text boxes (val version 2) and you have a secure site. Add viewstateKey = sessionID and it's done. Peter, as always, is fast with any help or assistance via email.
Hackers Suck!

Peter's new anti-hacker tool is easily one of the most important 3rd Party Controls you can own! If you think your site will never be hacked - think again! I ran a small site with only a few thousand members and was attacked by a group of hackers who made my life utterly unbearable! I WISH I had this tool back then. Not only does it stop the most common attacks (SQL injection, Cross-Site, Brute-Force, etc) but it actually blocks them from your site and sends you an email (you could even log it to a database, or with a little additional programming, have the site send you an alert on your cell phone!) If you are a developer, you owe it to yourself (and your clients) to develop sites that will keep it's data secure from prying eyes.
I can't reccomend this product (or any product from Peter Blum) enough!
Very useful, very flexible.

Very useful indeed. Came across it when wanting to give a friendlier error for the ValidateRequest exception, and discovered a whole bunch of other useful features. Configure error/exception/attack logging and alerts very easily - this was essential for the product I was developing, which would be installed in a client environment (ie, I would have no access to the box to debug). Great documentation, very helpful, quick support - highly recommended!

This product is a life saver. If you are worried at all about SQL Injection and/or Cross Site Scripting attacks on your website (which you should be if you are doing anything securely), this product is for you.
I hadn't thought too much about security of input fields previously simply because I didn't have the time to tackle what this tool does for you.
Using this tool is not a quick an easy fix, it requires education (if you are not already familiar with the concepts of SQL and XSS), time to learn and time to configure. However, after getting over the hurlde, this product will secure you web pages with minimal time and effort that you would have spent otherwise.
The product is highly configurable, extremely well documented and wonderfully supported by the author. Combined with "Professional Validation and More", which is required for this product, my web applications have become friendly, more interactive with regards to input validation, and secure.
I know know that I can'
