DF_MailStuff is a freeware .NET component useful in any circumstances you need to validate/check email address input by the user.
DF_MailStuff is also much more:
isEmailValid: use this method for validating email address checking syntax (even bad words) and/or validating domain (syntax check, dns lookup, top domain check, MX check, anonymous domain check, email existing against remote smtp server)
catchEmails: use this method for retrieving all email addresses contained into a text
DF_MailStuff returns detailed error codes
No external references but .Net 2.0 framework: just download ad use it...

EmailVerify.NET is a powerful .NET component which verifies email addresses using various
techniques, including: syntax verification (according to RFC 2821 and RFC 2822), MX record
lookup and disposable address (DEA) validation, SMTP availability check, mailbox existence check and
catch-all address verification.
It is completely written in managed code (C#) and is compliant with the Common Language Specification (CLS), so it can be used with any other .NET language.
EmailVerify.NET is the only component which performs catch-all address test. Many SMTP servers out there use an anti-spam feature that makes them accept email for every address you feed them with, even if its mailbox does not exist; EmailVerify.NET checks this behavior and let you know if the server has this anti-spam feature turned on.
EmailVerify.NET let you also be aware of SMTP servers that have Greylisting support turned on. Upon checking an email address with EmailVerify.NET you will be informed if the server which is responsible for that address has greylisting enabled and you could, for example, wait for a short amount of time before resubmitting that address.
The built in high performance multithreaded engine lets you validate email addresses in batch, with the benefit of a sensible reduction of the time required for processing multiple email addresses at once; under the cover, EmailVerify powerful algorithms chooses the right time to process every email address in a given batch, optimizing as much as they can the parallelization of the whole verification job, while also respecting an adjustable time interval between querying the same SMTP server, needed to avoid overloading external SMTP server and, even worse, being tagged as a spammer or as a bot by external servers....
