It took almost 20 minutes to open Visual Studio. Once VS was open the only things that were done were creating a database with two tables and dragging them into the ORD screen. I was hoping for more content and less general chat.

Wow… seriously? That took 2 videos and over an hour of my time to learn something that should have taken 5min max. Please Stephen, next time do the video on your own and don’t cut corners! I want to see this truly function in real word scenarios. MVC has true promise for large scale development teams concerned with performance and SEO so please cover more in less time. If needed, create a “MVC for beginner developers” section to place these videos in.

In contrast to corydeppen and valmont33, who appear to be more educated on MVC than I am, I think the pace of the videos was great, and I could relate to Paul who had experience in .Net yet needed coaching in the MVC driver's seat. It didn't rush me (I get kind of panicked when learning new stuff) and I was able to go back and forth between an app I'm trying to build, all while relaxing and watching Law & Order in between. I had read articles and watched videos on MVC before but none went step-by-step at a level and a relaxed pace that I could understand before this.

I would agree with valmont33, I appreciate you taking the time to create the videos, perhaps a separate section to help the different levels of developer familiar with MVC concepts etc. (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert). Real world examples would be excellent, cutting corners is fine for beginners to get an idea, or something up and running; but there needs to be somewhere that shows 'the next step'. How do we create logic in our models, keep our controllers skinny etc? :)

Man, this is one BAD video - seriously, the 2-guy approach doesn't work well and there is not very much visual studio/MVC framework info. Needs to be re-done.
