This lesson has really give input of building full fledge web base application. I have learned lot of concepts in logic design.

these vids are good you can start with it......

even if you know a little about windows application....

The videos provide a springboard to using the web 2.0 controls but the application is useless. The membership authorization is built using a session variable. As soon as you logout and close the session, you can't log back in, even though your user ID and password show up in the database!

All the 4 videos together were very good

Thanks for the videos, but i have problem with login control.

I cannot login in default page. Moreover, when i try to use "ASP.NET Configuration" tool it gives the following error:

"An error was encountered, Please return to the previous page and try again" - why this error appears.

What i did is, i downloaded the code, installed it on my

XP-Pro. I opened my VS2005 and point it out on website QuizCS.

Now, i cannot log in as an "admin", and i cannot use ASP.NET Configuration in my Solution Explorer bar ???

Please, help. Am i missing something in settings?

It took a long time to make my own web page.New developer navigation controls needed; Is there a program that allows a webpage to be designed in rows and columns. To select a zone on the webpage a X and a Y coordinate is inputed and it takes you there to the desired area location. It would make it easier for me to program faster if I don't have to use the mouse all the time in my programming. I am looking into the concept of a Web Page program that shortcut keys named 1-100 will replace the zones of the areas of the web developer 2005. If you are working on a 2005 visual basic program and your time on the mouse and then switch to the keyboard that takes time. Over the years that is a lot of time wasted on the switch between these two input devices. Do they already have such a program for ASP.net web developer.

error:

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Any chance the volume on the mouse clicks in all these videos could be increased? It's awesome that the mouse clicks are both frequent and audible but the awesomeness factor could be increased with louder mouse clicks!!

i am getting the following error when i try to open the quiz.mdf in sql server 2008 or in Visual studio 2008.

"Database 'Quiz.mdf' cannot be upgraded because its non-release version

(603) is not supported by this version of SQL Server. You cannot open a

database that is incompatible with this version of sqlservr.exe. You must re-create the database...."

What steps do you suggest to recover this database and make it usable?

Do you have the latest version of this database built in Sql server 2008?
