[Lesson 7:] Databinding to User Interface Controls

The Videos are great but there's one Frustrating Problem. At least 5 - 10 of them freeze at a certain point, like this one makes it to 8:33 and won't continue. It's not my connection because this repeatedly happens.

Is there an example on how to make a drop down multi select menu when the data is based of a tween table in a database. For example, I have a USERS and a GROUPS table and there is a inbetwen table that combines the two. Is there any example on how to create a drop down box with this database configeration?

i created a gridview and detailsview with the pageindex=selected index but i noticed it only works on te firstoriginal page.  if you use paging on the gridview and go to the second or third or nth page in your collection, when you click on select to view the details it will display the details for the recordID at that same PAGE POSITION in the first original page.  How can that be remedied?

Is there a tutorial on how to create comment boxes or a comment section like right here and below? These tutorials are great for retrieving data but im looking for something that will teach me to write comments to my sql database. any help would be great, thx.

Working with Oracle (OleDB);  Table joins - especially editing/deleting records obtained with a complicated select statement

They are very good but that mouse double click sounds is driving me crazy

Ive noticed that if you add a multitude of data rows to be able to run paging in the grid view to spread over say around 14 data rows -  When trying to select a file on the second page... the selection row variable remains on the equivalent row of the original index page !!!!!

WHY?

I guess its something regarding the 1x line code shown in the tutorial written in the "SelectedIndexChanged" handler as its referring to SelectedPageIndex yet it doesnt seem to be passing through the rowStartindex=10 for the 11th data etc.

As a plain stack of data with no page indexing it works fine,,, but add a paging option and get the data paging over at least two pages - and this example breaks...  Please someone tell me a fix ?  :-)
