[How Do I:] Utilize the CSS Friendly Control Adapters?

Please install Silverlight or click download to watch video locally.

The CSS Friendly Control Adapters allow you to alter the HTML that is rendered by a standard ASP.NET 2.0 server control. In this video we learn that the standard ASP.NET Menu control renders an HTML

element, but with the CSS Friendly Control Adapters the same control will render an HTML
list element, improving the menu's accessibility and presentation. Visit the CSS Friendly Control Adapters page to see how the same techniques can be applied to many other ASP.NET server controls.

Does anyone know if the CSS Control Adapter is being used for the main menu on this site - ASP.net?  I'm looking for an example of the toolkit in action.

I don't deny that Chris is a fine programmer, but he is not a good teacher. The video shows 'what he has done' rather than 'how to do it'. His explanation is very deep, as he pulls up page after page of what he has done, code appears from nowhere.  There's too much talk of 'what is possible' and manages to talk his way through the whole tutorial without writing a single piece of code. Yes, I understand that this is very good if you have experienced other ways of carrying out the process at hand, but if you are new to asp.net, it's confusing.

has anyone tried on their own to make the same thing that is shown in the video.

Couse im trying a lot but with no result. im not such a VB fan and there is a lot of difference between the C# code and the code on the video but the problem is that the page that i create does not get automatically the 2 CSS files.

Do we need to specify somewhere in the web.config file a reference for those files???
