Wow! You mean I can turn Visual Studio into Notepad? ;] Note that the first word in the product's name is visual. Say it with me, "visual".

I think it is most unfortunate that so many "glitches", over the years and versions, in VS's GUI and GUI performance (speed) have driven people to want Notepad mode for a product so potentially rich in productivity features. I hope VS 2010 received enough focus on fixing/addressing the GUI glitches and performance, because I already had Notepad.
