In this session, we explain how to get started building Web applications with Microsoft ASP.NET.
We walk through using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition to build a simple
Web application with the technologies we learned about in the previous session. Once you learn
about the technologies used in Web development, it can be a little daunting to figure out how
to get started. So before we dive deeper into these technologies, we jump right in and show
you step by step how to build your first Web application and explore where the technologies fit
into the development process.
