I did not see the images after adding the view for the Store index action method in this step of the tutorial. Selecting the Views/Shared/_Layout.cshtml in the Add View dialog for the "Use a layout or master page:" would have fixed it. For whatever reason, I had no Razor _ViewStart file. Adding the line

Layout = "~/Views/Shared/_Layout.cshtml";

to Browse.cshtml after the line

ViewBag.Title = "Browse";

fixed it.

Yes, IE9 has several problems. I noticed it works in IE9 if you hit the compatibility button.

It said, it couldn't apply some stylesheets since :visited and :link can only differ by color.

I went into the Site.css file and looked for "visited" and found two places where :link and :visited are used. One time under #Categories and another time just generally. Both places had more than the color variable.

I commented everything else other than the color, therefore it looked like this:

a:link, a:visited

{

color: #F6855E;

/*text-decoration: none;

font-weight: bold;*/

}

and

#categories a:link, #categories a:visited

{

color: #9B9993;

/*text-decoration: none;*/

}

I ran the website and everything loaded fine.

Then I tried to figure out which one of those things was causing the problem, so I started uncommenting one by one. The problem is, I eventually ended up uncommenting everything, therefore going back to how things originally were, and it STILL worked fine. :-(

So I dunno what caused the problem, but looks like I fixed it.
