I tried following these instructions before but then noticed I had no DATA tab in the toolbox afterwards! Advice would be much appreciated.

I am using the old version of AJAX library on my website, and I have used old Scriptmanager, AutoCompleteExtender for running web service. Not quite sure what is the imopact on my website if I delete the old Ajax library and install the new one. Would the ToolkitScriptManager take care of all? Does this mean I have to change all the Scriptmanager to ToolkitScriptManager? I really need to install this new Ajax Control toolkit because I need to use the Combobox control, but I don't want the currently running web service affected. Anyone can advice? Thanks in advance.

Why this tutorial only shows how to add the "Ajax Control Toolkit" and not how to add the "Ajax Extensions"?

If I only add the toolkit to the toolbox, then I drag and drop some control (e.g.: FilteredTextBoxExtender) to my web page and try to run it, the page loads with errors. It says that needs "script manager" but where do I find it?

I consider the tutorial must be complete.

But when I try to drag and drop any of the Toolkit controls onto my ASP.NET page design form, they don't "stick". The "disabled" cursor (circle with a diagonal line thru the middle) displays as soon as I hover my mouse pointer over the form. What additional steps do I need to take to make Visual Studio these controls?
