Tables give me a lot more control over the area around and behind the text. What is the advantage? Sometimes I use the "list" inside a table. Otherwise the list is free-floating on the page. I'm not trying to be impossible. I just want to know what I'm missing. Thanks!!

Comment Posted by Mark Costa

Sorry to say that @jpolo but you are completely out of what is "new" - not new actualy - in web development. This results in a brief (perhaps 1/2 second) display of the menu (both static and dynamic elements) vertically, then it eventually displays in horizontal format (dynamic elements hidden). This is unacceptable in production (and is not readily visible in development environments where response is quick). Selecting "table" does not exhibit the same behavior. I need to use "list". How do I get it to render without the brief vertical rendering first?

Comment Posted by crouchie2004

Can I have the last 5 mins of my wasted life back, please?

Comment Posted by sonam

@crouchie2004 You could save next 5 mins of your wasted life just by ignoring this comment.
